History
VCIC began in the middle of the dot-com bubble in 1998 in response to the number of business plan competitions popping up at most business schools. VCIC has grown into a virtual venture job fair and marketplace. The program culminates every April in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with the International Finals, where the winning teams take home $5,000 in prize money.
